| I feel it is important for students to understand not only about sports and physical movement, but to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle. PE has taken a turn from just playing games, to learning about health, fitness, sports, recreation, dance, nutrition, diseases, sport activity, diet plans, and creating a lifestyle that promotes health. We will be learning how to create our own diet plan that provides us with healthy food habits. We will also discuss parts of the bodies; bones, muscles, anatomical positions, and an understanding of how these all work together to move. Students will also be required to participate in moving together with others in sports, games, activites, dance, and technology enhancement devices as we learn together about making and keeping healthy bodies. Each week we learn a new health topic that is determined by the Coordinated Health curriculum. Each week in PE and in the classroom, students will discover many areas of health related topics.
