Estas fotos mostram algumas etapas na confec��o de um mosaico pelo m�todo direto, com a fixa��o das tesselas de revestimento cer�mico com cola sobre uma base de compensado.
As tesselas s�o cortadas com um torqu�s e ajustadas �s formas do desenho com a ajuda de uma micro-ret�fica.
Ap�s o t�rmino da montagem das tesselas, o acabamento � realizado com a aplica��o de cimento de rejunte.
These pictures show some stages of mosaic making through direct method, where ceramic tesserae are glued over a laminated wood base.
The tesserae are cut with tile nippers and adjusted to fit the format of drawing with the help of a grinder.
After assembling the tesserae, there's the grouting phase, where grout is spread all over the mosaic and then cleaned-up.
