Pittarthie Castle, a worthy but negelected seventeenth century laird's house, lies in the parish of Dunino in the Kingdon of FIfe on Scotland's east coast. Although roofless since the 1840's the ruin is in fair condition and the features it displays are those of a plain scottish mansion of the seventeenth century.
In this site I have included a description of the building, a little history , some photo's and a few thoughts on possible restoration. I hope you enjoy this site, please feel free to email any thoughts or suggestions.
