Springtime

On the first day of spring, Ray Vecchio stands by the window at the crack of dawn. It rains over North Octavia. There is no traffic on the street. It is a family neighbourhood, after all. It is a calm neighbourhood.

The big house is quiet, too. Noisy Vecchios are on vacation. Ray sighs, his heart flutters. He sees a small blossom in a nearby tree outside, and smiles with warmth in his heart. It is spring in Chicago. He inhales deeply, experiencing the new season's smells.

From behind, Benton Fraser circles his waist, hands resting on Ray's chest. The Canadian's natural body heat instantly makes the Italian's heart sparkle. Other parts of his naked body also flare at the touch of his beautiful lover.

Benny's lips travel along on the cop's long sensuous neck bestowing little kisses till he gets right to the ear. Then he whispers huskily.

"Don't you want to come back to bed, Ray?"

Smooth lips on the back of Ray's neck give tremors to the man. Warm gentle hands lovingly caress his shoulders. The cop feels Benny's lower body touching his back.

"Now I do". Ray's breath gets irregular. His blood flow produces a distinctive stir in his groin. He gets dizzy.

"What are you doing?" Benny licks his ear, Ray shudders, closing his eyes as his heart races. "Watching the sun rise?"

"Not really." Ray feels the throbbing below his navel increasing rapidly. "Watching a flower blossom."

Over Ray's shoulders, Benny looks down at the cop's waistline with a smile. After a few seconds, he whispers as Ray's flower intensely exhaled its unique scent. "So am I, Ray."
