NRA Basic Pistol Course.

A concealed carry permit (pistol permit) is required to carry and purchase pistols/revolvers in Connecticut. A hunting license or carry permit will allow you to purchase any long gun in Connecticut without having to endure the state imposed waiting period. In order to get a State Permit to Carry you must first obtain a local permit from the local police.

The NRA Basic Pistol Course is required in order to get your local carry permit. 

The Goal of the NRA Basic Pistol course is 

"to teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for owning and using a pistol safely"

Instruction with a specific concentration on safety and home protection.  All classes are designed to cater to small groups allowing our instructors to offer a more personalized course for each individual.

Classes are run in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We offer flexibility in our scheduling to include  weekend or evening hours. Private individual instruction is also available. Cost per person $100. Private instruction for an additional fee
