Welcome to a page that's all about me! Yeah, I know
you're all excited. And you just can't hide it. So read.
Read, if you dare. I'll probably type something more
interesting here in the future. Or not.
And here are some pics that have to do with me and my life...
This is mah duggy. Her name is Bear, do ya ken? Aye.
And this is the building where I work. Good ol' Ameritas Investment Corp. Yup. A broker-dealer...totally the place you'd expect a wannabe playwright to work. But I like my job, nonetheless. Mostly because, yay money and all. Nah, seriously, it's a good job, and the people are great.
This is a picture I took a couple years ago from Mahoney State Park, which is about seven miles from my house. The area I live in, around the Platte River, is really beautiful. This was in winter, and the pond was frozen.
Okay, here are some of me, in various cheesy poses. I took these the other day,
now that I FINALLY have a webcam!
Full Name: Eric John Salonis
Age: 24
Hometown: Omaha, Nebraska
Current Location: Bermuda Triangle, Nebraska (also known as outside Louisville)
Education: Some college, 2 years as theatre major
Major: Theatre (performance emphasis)
Interests: Theatre, writing, movies, music (anything from classical to rock to alternative to Celtic to musical theatre to classic rock to jazz... I have a varied taste), role-playing games, and anime.
Hobbies: Playwriting, poetry writing, occasional short stories, working on my web site (with Nicole's help), writing music
Interesting Facts: I was in a Skateland commercial once when I was about 9, I think. I remember saying something about the Hokey-Pokey.
I was in an original adaptation of A Christmas Carol at the Lied Center for Performing Arts here in Lincoln. It was a wonderful experience. We used underscoring music from Bram Stoker's Dracula and Edward Scissorhands.
I currently work as an assistant in the brokerage operations area at Ameritas Investment Corp. It's living on the edge, man.
I was in a short film written and directed by my friend Chris Blunk this summer, where I had to play a really old man. They painted my face with liquid latex, and old people makeup. Icky.
I was also in the student film Ideal which was also written and directed by Chris Blunk. I played a pretentious snob named Scotty.
It apparently won an award at a film festival in Kansas, but I still haven't seen the film, myself. I will be making plans for a night out of
maming Chris soon if he does not deliver a copy to me.
I put peanut butter on pancakes.
