Starting Things Out Right

Starting pitchers, Steve Cain and Pat Miller, have been a big part of the Pirates this season as they have made opposing batters look like One-Eyed Willie and helped keep games close for the team's slumping bats. They also played a big part in the sweep of the NL Central leaders, St. Louis Cardinals, during the May 31-June 2 series played in St. Louis' Busch Staduim.
