On the bus
So this chick is behind me whining "why are we stopped? why is he sitting here? what is he doing, why aren't we moving....Jesus Christ" I hazzard a look behind me... In my head I say: Well, if you would take a moment to leave that world in which everything revolves around you, you might notice that the bus driver is talking to someone on the curb, and you may have also noticed that same someone has boarded the bus and is actually a BLIND WOMAN then you may also notice that he's helping her find a seat because the asshole up there, who also spends too much time in a world in which everything revolves around him, won't take a moment to help the lady find the seat that is next to him... See, honey, the bus driver is kind enough NOT to take off before the lady can sit down because that is the right thing to do in the world in which NORMAL PEOPLE live in...Believe it or not he's not doing this just to piss you off. To her I say: nothing...because in second grade I was taught, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." |
