Talking to Janine

Me: I think I may have SARS. According to the CDC these are the symptoms: headache (I�ve got that right now) overall feeling of discomfort (yup, got that) and body aches (eh... My foot does kind of hurt and so does my throat) Although I don�t have the temperature and I�m not sure if a flemmy throat is considered a respiratory symptom or not. I don�t at the moment feel that I�m having trouble breathing...but my nose is a little cloggy feeling....
What do you think?
Her: Well, have you been Hong Kong or Toronto lately???? Has the cute boy? If not... I wouldn't worry about it...
Me: Maybe I've got anthrax?
Her: I'm doubtful. Allergies, maybe. Anthrax, prolly not.
Me: Maybe it's a tumor!
Her (In her best Ahnuld voice): IT'S NOT A TOOMAH!

The Search

So, I've checked Monster, Career Builder/Chi Tribune, Hot Jobs, Flip Dog, Show Biz Jobs, and Media Bistro I've applied to a few of the jobs found at each of these places...and as of yet, I've heard NOTHING.
*sigh*
What good does it do to make the search more active if there's nothing to search for? I feel like one of those emergency rescue dogs who needs a fake rescue just to feel better.

GASP! HORROR!!

It seems that Snotty Bitch is DOWN! Oh my GOD! What will we do?!? I've spoken to the folks in charge...they are working on fixing the problem... in the meantime the links to my writings there on your left wont really work... So... I suggest going over to Gothic.net and reading the fantastic writings they have. Perhaps buy something nice from their Ebay auction to help them cover their bills and pay the writers. Or you can even just be nice and give them money for nothing in return...

Things My Boss Must Realize

1. She is NOT the center of the universe. Everyone else has a life and work to do that does not necessarily revolve arond her.
2. A spreadsheet will NOT solve everything.
3. I don't know why the computers go crazy, I don't know why the database says one thing while the Word document says another. I did not make that Word document, it's probably a mistake.
4. I don't want to work here anymore, if she pushes my buttons again and gives me that sigh and eye roll, I'll quit and she'll be fucked.
5. People make mistakes
6. People get distracted
7. People don't always call back, especially if it is ME calling them and not her.
