Friday Five
1. What was the first band you saw in concert? Powerstation at Poplar Creek 2. Who is your favorite artist/band now? It depends on my mood. There isn't really ONE favorite. I go from Peter Gabriel to The Rollins Band to any kind of jazz being played on WBEZ to Irish folk music. I like just about everything. 3. What's your favorite song? I really like The Rollins Band's song Liar. But I also really like Peter Gabriel's Washing of the Water off the US album. Then there are moments where all I listen to is the one song off the Stay Cats Album "Choo Choo Hot Fish" called My Heart is a Liar. Really, asking me to name only one song is like asking me to name only one band. 4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be? Well, I did play the flute in grade school, I was actually very good at it. But I'd really like to be able to play drums or piano. 5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why? I've always wanted to meet the boys from Duran Duran. But now I wouldn't mind meeting Henry Rollins because he just seems like such a cool guy. |
