And to your left....

I've added the most current picture of me to the template. I took it with a disposable underwater camera (yeah they actually make those!) The picture was taken in the pool when I was on vacation in Florida last year. Yeah, I do a good job avoiding cameras, unless I'm holding them. Yeah, I took the picture of myself, I held the camera under the water and kept my head above the water and snapped the picture. Nifty eh?

YAY!!

So I've finally got my PHONE back! 8 days with NO PHONE...... Let me tell you, I was going NUTS. Not so much cuz I wanted to talk on the phone but more because I couldn't talk on the phone. I sat and watched TV marveling over all the things I couldn't do because I had no phone.

Great deals I missed out on by not having my phone:
1. Free video and brochure for the Nautilus Sleep System
2. COOL ROCK 2 CD set. "The songs are hot but the music is cool!"
3. Ask my doctor if Ditropan XL, Clarinex or Paxil was right for me.
4. Win a free Craftmatic Adjustable bed
5. Order a Dell and win a trip to Paris

Other things I couldn't do since I had no phone:
1. Order pizza
2. Order Pay-Per-View
3. Order from the Home Shopping Channel
4. Call Miss Cleo for advice
5. Call my friends to discuss the burning feminine itch and then learn from them about Vagisil
6. Tell my friends that Alias begins 9/29
7. Bank by phone
8. Call in sick to work

But the worst thing was that I couldn't go online and cast my vote in any of the TechTV polls on The Screen Savers or Call for Help or Tech Live. I've become such a total TechTV addict in the past few days. The Screen Savers are auctioning off parts of their set because they're getting a new one. I so totally wanted that Gnome that held the mail. That was SO COOL. But... I had no phone so I couldn't get online (yeah, I'm still dial up - don't even bug me about that! I'm not hooking up my apartment for high speed internet just to have to pay again when I have to move.)

Now I'm noticing that the enetation comments aren't working... man this is NOT my week....

Another Update
The netcomments seems to be down completely. And I've noticed that Netscape users will be unable to read my blog at all if I leave the tags in. They've been removed for the moment. If you have a comment... keep it to yourself.
