bah to being back at work. Woke up with a killer headache, it seems to have toned down to a dull throb, although I do feel better with my eyes shut, but it's hard to work with your eyes closed.
This weekend I will be participating in the Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society. My friends organized a relay in the area I used to live. I think it will be a success. I've raised more money than I ever thought I would. I'm very happy about that. And I'm trying to collect goodies from our office to donate as prizes and as things for the auction. I'm just hoping the weather gets a little cooler and stays dry for the weekend. Also, I'm going to write a letter to my mom for a writing contest I saw an ad for in Personal Journaling magazine. It's for the Letters from the Heart Project. I think that even if I don't win anything for it, It'll be good for me to write it. Well, my thermostat tells me it is over 90 degrees in here so I'm going to grab the notebook and pen and start on that letter in the airconditioned room See Ya! |
