bah to being back at work. Woke up with a killer headache, it seems to have toned down to a dull throb, although I do feel better with my eyes shut, but it's hard to work with your eyes closed.

This weekend I will be participating in the Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society. My friends organized a relay in the area I used to live. I think it will be a success. I've raised more money than I ever thought I would. I'm very happy about that. And I'm trying to collect goodies from our office to donate as prizes and as things for the auction. I'm just hoping the weather gets a little cooler and stays dry for the weekend.

Also, I'm going to write a letter to my mom for a writing contest I saw an ad for in Personal Journaling magazine.It's for the Letters from the Heart Project. I think that even if I don't win anything for it, It'll be good for me to write it.

Well, my thermostat tells me it is over 90 degrees in here so I'm going to grab the notebook and pen and start on that letter in the airconditioned room

ahh... what a wonderful vacation week I had. My pal Missy came to town and we hung out, slept in, saw music, watched TV, played tourists, went to a movie and went to two Cubs games. It was FUN! Although the second Cubs game was much more fun than the first. The weather turned nice for Missy's arrival and then in true Chicago fashion, it turned killer hot overnight. The heat is still here, and I've finally put the air conditioner in the window.

At the moment I'm practicing my time freezing skills so that tomorrow will NOT COME so that I won't have to go to work, it doesn't seem to be working.
My second "how to" piece is at Snotty Bitch so go take a look and at the other items posted by fellow Snotties. Oh, and the bio pages have been updated too. I've got my favorite picture posted, yay me!

Well, the computer room is hotter than hell and I want to go back to my air conditioned livingroom so I'm going to stop with the lameness and get out of here.
