You see, I've been getting requests for images from DW these last few weeks and she said something about learning Photoshop or Adobe or whatever and 'will certainly update very, very soon'. Then typhoons decided to come in which put her off the mood (or so I assumed) and the next thing I know, I get an email from her saying she has gone off to Beijing to eat Peking duck (does that constitute as cannabalism? Talk about the silence of the ducks!). So I thought that I'd better get off my lazy ass to do something. Another reason why the update is late is because I am on a Sanzo high and can't be depended on thinking anything that's not related to that sexy, trigger-happy bastard, the colour of his shirts and his state of shirtlessness (which can be very embarrassing during work). Oh, and thanks for the 25000 or so hits! New fanfic by Hinome Hinomoto Fixed up Sailor Bob's link and added 2 new links New poll (HP edition) but that was ages ago and judging from the no. of people who voted, I guessed you guys already knew. 09/07/03 Yes, we are alive and yes, we are aware that we have not updated for half a year. You see, despite what some people think, we actually do have lives to live, you know, bills to pay, financial crises to overcome, family issues to resolve, murders to plan etc. So despite how big a fan we are, sometimes we have better (and more important) things to do than to update our site and even keep up with the latest IY news. I'm not trying to be nasty here, it's just that I have never counted on anybody caring enough to ask me to update and I am very flattered that there are some people who liked this site enough to be bothered to do it. HOWEVER, we were NOT impressed with the little story that was written on the message board because it was sarcastic and nasty. In fact we were so peeved by it that we decided that not to respond for fear of not being able to control the myriad of very nasty swear words that were fighting to get out. All we can say is this, we are old, we are tired and we have lots of other things to do so we will update when we are good and ready. That aside, there is a new rule to the Forum. That is to say that abuse and aggression to other people on the Forum will not be tolerated. Offenders will be given one warning and if they do it again, they will be banned from the site for a period of time. Now for the updates: I have mentioned that I didn't get around to posting the remainder of the competition entries so they are all up now on the Competition page. One new fic from Laura Also something new on the Omake page I have also a piece of fanart but it is not posted because I'm very tired at the moment and don't feel up to creating a fanart page just yet so please have patience. Also, I'm pretty sure I received another fanfic but accidently deleted it so if it's yours, please resend it. That's all for now. 04/02/03 No, this is not a real update. It's just to announce that the competition is now officially closed. All the entries that are in my inbox at this very moment has made it in time and will be put up within the week. Note: We are no longer accepting entries for the competition but if you have something that you want us to put up, we'll gladly put it up. Judging has begun and the winners will be announced before the 15th of February. 27/01/03 Happy Australia Day to those of you who are Australian and for those who aren't, well...happy Monday that's just like any other Mondays except some scumbag from down under is rubbing it in your face because she's getting the day off! Lalalala!!! Anyway I have a lot to tralalala about because I putting up four new fanfic entries and four new fanart entries. Click here to read, skim, disect, view, oggle and drool! I have another fanart entry in my inbox, the site is nearing it's 10,000th hit. My mum said that if I could find a puppy from a free-to-good-home-ad to give to her workmate, we can keep Little Good Luck (I will put up a photo of him soon) and DW is coming back this week which means Saiyuki DVDs which means lots and lots of Sanzo bigger and better (and it also means she's bringing back the Sesshoumaru wallscroll so we have something to give away!!!). That's it for now. I might update soon because I'm in such a good mood! 23/01/03 Happy New Year. I have three more fanart entries, one by Raziel and two by Dana. I'm sorry about the delay in putting it up. It has been a pretty eventful few weeks for me. Firstly I'm working my ass off just for my mum to take it all away 'for a rainy day'. Secondly I received a cute Jack Russell from a friend. His name is Siu Gat which is Cantonese for Little Good Luck. However, LGL is proving to be Little Bad Luck because my black dog, Hatchai died tragically within a week. It just so happens that Hatchai was my mum's favourite and now she doesn't really like LGL. LGL was my consolation in Hatchai's death (I swear, no dog should die the way he did) but mum just announced that he is to be given away to a workmate of hers whose children have been begging for a puppy for ages (honestly, they are well-to-do, I don't see why they couldn't go and buy a puppy from a pet shop rather than stealing one from me!!). To 'console' me mum said that a friend is giving up their two-year-old Chihuahua called Udon to us. Udon's cute, and he could rollover and such but he's still not LGL who is MY BABY!!!! I want to keep him so bad! But poor Bobo is feeling left out... Does all this sound confusing? Well, I make it clearer when I put up the Hound Pound (due mid-Feb) which is basically about the dogs I know (I just love dogs, you can't think of them as animals or pets but as individuals with their own personalities and their own rights). Now let's see, what else...oh yeah, if you still plan to enter the competition, now is the last call. It will close next Saturday on the first of February when I meet up with Darkwing again and we will spend the next two weeks deciding on the winners. 28/12/03 Yay!!! A fanart entry from Raziel and the new polls are up!! See, once in a while I do do what I say. 24/12/03 Merry Christmas everyone! And indeed it's a jolly Christmas for the Hound Pound today. Why? Because we have received four entries for our competition. Fanfics from Sara and Jackie and fanart from Jackie and Shanna. And here are some plans for the upcoming new year - new polls, an actual hound pound and for Sara, I'm currently putting the dog bone story on hold because I'm working on a new fic which is my first attempt at drama and possible angst. 16/12/03 Okay, this is not a real update but I have had a complaint about a faulty email addy when people try to send things in for the competition. I have provided a few alternative email addresses on the competition page in case you are one of the people who tried to send in an entry but couldn't. The deadline for the competition has been extended and I thank the two people who brought the problem to my attention. 03/12/02 Sorry for being a little late but I have finally archived my guestbook entries. Do you know that I have been getting nasty messages from Yahoo! telling me to archive it for sometime now because the content was getting a little too large and when I did go to do it, I found we have 25 entries (not including 2 stupid ones by DW, I deleted those). 25. 25!!! 25 is not huge, 25 hundred is huge. Geez! Talk about miserly. But I am very, very peeved today. Why? Because my library decided that they don't do rude, overdue books notices anymore. Instead they have opted to call me up to tell me that I have an overdue book still waiting to be returned. And to show exactly what they thought of me as a human being, they got a COMPUTER to do the nasty work. So instead a nasty letter, I got a nasty, computer-generated phonecall. I mean, it's bad enough that I have to encounter computers and answering machines when I call other people and companies up, but to have someone call me and then force me to listen to a stupid, monotonous, computer voice! It's infuriating, insulting, demeaning and degrading. It's bad enough that I had to have such an embarrassing call and a whopping overdue fine, but couldn't they at least have the courtesy to have a real live human being talk to me? It's adding insult to injury. Besides, the book was borrowed by my mum on my card...life just isn't fair!!!!!! But anyhow, life goes on. Sorry, just had to let it out.
