| THE IYHP'S VERY FIRST BIRTHDAY BASH COMPETITION!!!! | ||||
| Hip hip hooray! Yay, its our first birthday (well sort of since its late but still) and to celebrate we have decided to hold a competition!!!! And seeing its our first birthday and competition, we have also decided to be extravagant and give out REAL prizes (you know, the sort of thing that comes in the mail, apart from credit card fees, overdue books library notices, junk mail, hate mail and anthrax). We encourage everyone to enter (please read Please, please, please, we beg you to enter, we need new things to put up!!!). The details are as follows: There will be two categories; Fanfiction and Fanart. All entries must be Inuyasha related. You may enter both categories and as many works as you wish (it is NOT possible to send in one piece of work and say that you want to enter it twice, this is NOT a raffle and you may NOT enter different chapters of a piece of work as different entries, 1 title = 1 entry regardless of no. of chapters). There are no restrictions on lengths of fanfiction and you may also enter incomplete work. For type of fanfiction that will be accepted please refer to the Fanfic page. Please enter fanfiction as word documents (they can be attached to emails) and fanart as jpegs and gifs. Entries may be co-authored or co-created but please note that we will award only one prize per winning entry. Absolutely no lemon or explicit content for both categories. Such entries will be disregarded. No plagiarism (i.e. no stealing other peoples works and passing it off as your own). Also, as we understand that great minds think alike, its possible to borrow someone elses ideas but if the plot of your fanfic or the layout of your fanart is eerily similar to someone elses, we will get mighty suspicious. Entries suspected of plagiarism will be disqualified. All entries are to be sent to [email protected] with something like competition entry or fanart for competition written on it so we will know what it is. If you are unable to send it in to the above address, try [email protected] instead. And if that email addy proves to be faulty, send it to [email protected]. You're bound to make it with one of the three email addresses. Competition has been extended to the end of January. The exact date will be announced. Entries will be judged by Piper and Darkwing with a possibility of a third Mystery Judge in case we disagree. Three prizes will be awarded, one for each category and also a special prize for the most outstanding entry across categories. To see what prizes we have to offer, please go here. And to view current entries, please come here. Have fun and good luck. If you still have any more queries, please direct them to [email protected].or one of the other two email addresses if that proves to be faulty. Back to Main page |
