PANHARD AML 90 ARMOURED CAR

{IMAGE}
{ROThe Panhard AML 90 (4x4) Armoured Car was designed for the French Army by Panhard, and the first production vehicles were delivered in 1962. This was also later manufactured by South Africa, named "Eland". There were two models at first, one with a 90 mm gun, and the other with a 60 mm gun and twin 7'62 mm MGs. This model resembles the look of the old british Daimlers and Humbler, but its powerful (by that time) 90 mm gun is what make him a modern vehicle, more than its mobile performance. More than 6000 units of the AML 90 have been built between France and South Africa, some of them with a better diesel engine.
