{ROThe Panhard ERC Sagaie 1 (6x6) armoured car is the first of a wide serie of vehicles with many variants. Developed by panhard between 1975 and 1977, it uses many automotive parts of the Panhard VCR APC (Armoured Personal Carrier), a parallel program. As built, this vehicle can be fully amphibious with some preparation, propelled in water by its wheels.It also fits the GIAT's T90 turret with 90 mm cannon. As the BRDM, its middle wheels can be lifted to improve its road performance. NBC protection system, night vision systems and water jets are optional. Also, there is a twin 20 mm AAgun version. The vehicle in the photograph is a ERC 90 F1 Lynx, serving the Mexican Army.
