{ROThis is a family. Very large. Very widespread. Maybe not like the BRDM's but not very far. Still in service with a number of CommonWealth countries, its carrer extends since 1948, in that year Daimler began the production, and from 1962 to 1971, over 4400 vehicles have been built. Just recently has become obsolete for the British army. No Ferrets were built with NBC, amphibious capabilities nor night vision systems, but some countries have upgraded them later. There are a lot of versions, but all of them fit the 7'62 mm HG as main weapon. Well over 20 armies in the world still use them.
