{ROFerret developed this vehicle in 1965 as a replacement for the Ferret MK 2/3 Armoured Car, phasing out by those times. The British Army took it into service in 1970. Still resembling the Daimler and Humbler look, its hull completely built in Aluminium for reducing weight, has enough armour to protect the crew from small arms fire and shell splinters. The main model is fitted with a two men operated turret with a 30 mm RARDEN cannon. There are two more versions, one with 12'7 mm MG, the "Panga", and another with M242 double feed Hughes Chain Gun, The FOX 25. It's not amphibious and it has four smokethrowers mounted in the lower turret.
