{ROThe natural replacement of the BRDM-1, the BRDM-2 is a (4x4) armoured car with better mobile performance than its predecessor, better armament, more range, NBC system, night sights and a two-men manually-operated turret, with a 14'5 mm HMG. The turret roof is open, and the vehicle has the same capability of the BRDM-1 of lowering its 2 center wheels for better all-terrain performance. It was developed in the early 60's, and was exported to over than 40 countries throught the world
