Gracilis
Gracilis (grass-il-is) is a specie which produces one of the smallest pitcher in the Nepenthes family. That is why it is very ideal as a terrarium plant. One thing that I have noticed about this plant is that the liquid from its pitcher easily dries out. Well small pitchers means less water to hold.:) I guess this also explain why there aint many insects visiting the pitcher. This may be one of he cheapest but is still rare in the Philippines. However, this does not mean that they are not interesting. It woudnt be described as slender and graceful for nothing. Lowlander and does well under full sunlight and produces a lot of basal shoots.

Veitchii "Veitchii (veet-chee-eye) is famous for its flashy peristome. This is a horticultural cross between a highland and lowland N. veitchii clones. The pitchers are pink with stripped peristome. It uses its leaves for climbing since they dont have long tendrils. My all time favorito.
