My memory cont.
A tradition we started with our own family was going to a community sing along at the local High School Gymnasium. Everyone turns out for this and we have alot of local talent in our city when it comes to music. I probably enjoyed this event most when my children were infants. There's something very special about holding a gently sleeping bundle in your arms while singing "Silent Night". Another build up to THE night are the usual school programs, the decorating, shopping (ugh!), etc. etc. As far as Santa visiting our house, I carried on the usual tradition with my own kids....the drive, etc. as Santa always comes to my house fairly early on Christmas eve since we travel to one of my sisters on Christmas Day, often time attending Midnight Mass as well. I could go on and on about this very special time of the year but Yahoo limits me on MBs and if you've visited my entire site then your are probably wondering "When the bloody hell is she gonna run out of space!" I've an answer for that...Very SOON! So if you have a memory you best be getting it e-mailed to me. Finally.....
