grace
My name is Grace and I live in Melbourne, Australia.
In my spare time I play guitar (rather badly), collect glass objects from the 1970s, drink gin & tonics at local jazz clubs, practise my French, scavange through second-hand stores, watch foreign films, and wander through Melbourne's lanes and allyways looking at glass bricks set into the ground, old signs from the early 1920s, and flowers growing from window-boxes above the street.
Currently I am listening to a lot of jazz, swing, and blues.
In March I will start my first year of my Bachelor of Arts, and my Diploma of Modern Languages - French, at Melbourne University. I'm hoping to major in cultural studies.
the basics
Why did I create this website? Well... a few reasons.
1). I wanted a way to get my ideas and thoughts across to other people. Ok, so maybe no one is really paying attention anyway, maybe no one really cares. But it's nice to think someone might be. Not only this, but I wanted to create a place where other people like myself were also able to get their writing noticed.

2). I am not saying that all web pages created by young people like myself who don't really know what they're doing are crap, but one must admit that there are an awful lot of pages on southpark, porn, and football. I wanted to do something different, something that might have a chance of being intellectually stimulating in SOME way. There are also a few issues that I am intersted in promoting, which I can't think of a better way to get across to people.

3). Who am I kidding. I wanted to acheive cult status.
