| Pikachu's next stop was beautiful Paris, France. Pikachu, dressed in a 1700's-style shirt and pants, and a traditional red barret, made his apearance for his screaming fans in front of the Eiffle Tower. He was greeted by a crowd of over 50 000 tourists and residents of France, all screaming for the little yellow Pokemon. Pikachu gave another beautiful speech (translated, as usual) to his fans, before, once again, giving his security members near heart-attacks by wandering through the crowd and speaking with his fans. I spoke with Ash (who still had his face veiled to avoid recognization) while Pikachu was mingling with the (very large) crowd. P.I: Ash, got a minute? Ash: Do you see Pikachu? I mean, uh, yeah, I got some time. P.I: Ash, how do you feel about Pikachu wandering around like this? Ash: I can't breathe I'm so nervous! There's 50 000, that's 45 000 more than there were in Greece, people here right now! I can't see him! For all I know, Pikachu could've been pika-napped by now! He could be gone! I think Li -I mean- somebody's trying to track him down now, but he could be gone! Gone! Poof! I could be without a best-friend tomorrow! P.I: You're that nervous, huh? Ash: Yeah. P.I: Who did you say was tracking him down? Ash: Lin- I mean, uh . . . someone in security. I can't talk with the media, or public, or . . . whatever you are about stuff like that. (no comment.) P.I: Says who? Ash: Pikachu, well, Pikachu's translator. I don't think he wants them recognized, too much confusion. They're not here to mingle with the public, Pikachu asked them to be his security team. P.I: Can't you give me one teensy-weensy tiny little hint as to who the security is? Pleeeeeeeeeze? Just for me? I won't tell anybody! Ash: Uh . . . well . . . no. I don't want Pikachu and the entire security team mad at me. P.I: Awwwwww. Alright. Thanks Ash. Ash: Oh, yeah, sure thing! By now, I'm getting frustrated with this security thing. Anyway, I'm going to jolly ol' England, tomorrow! London, here I come! |
