Perfectly Pointless Pokemon Points Exactly what it sounds like. All of these Pointless Points are 100% Pokemon related. Guaranteed to leave you pondering the question "But who cares . . . ?" Perfectly Pointless Nintendo Points I thought the Pikachu's Pointless Points section was a little short, so here's a whole bunch of facts about Pikachu's non-Pokemon friends at Nintendo. Do you care what "Nintendo" means? Probably not, but that's what we want here, isn't it? The Name Game Ever wonder how Pikachu became known as Pikachu? Neither have I, but that's not important. What's important here is . . . well, there isn't anything important here, which is why it's in the Pointless Points section. This is just in case you really want to know where names like "Jigglypuff" and "Donkey Kong" came from, which you probably never will . . . |
| Okay, Who's This Miyamoto Guy? Shigeru Miyamoto is the creator of pretty much every major Nintendo character except for members of the Pokemon cast (Pokemon was created by Satoshi Tajiri.) He's the genius behind Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, Fox . . . everybody except Ash and Pikachu. Go figure. |
