| The Legend: Legend has it this Pokemon created the oceans and seas of the world durring an epic battle with Groudon. It poured torrential rains down on Earth before being sent into a deep sleep, meant to keep it from harming anyone in the future. Thousands of years later, Archie, leader of the villainous Team Aqua, awoke the beast with the power of the Red Orb. Because of his greed, Kyogre once again threatened all life on Earth by creating dangerous amounts of rain. Steven, the Pokemon Champion of the time, and Wallace, the Sootopolis City Gym Leader, directed a young Pokemon Trainer into the Cave of Origin to do battle with the beast. After a long battle, the Trainer captured Kyogre, and saved the land of Hoenn from being drowned in seawater. The Pokemon: Kyogre can be a great adition to a Pokemon Party. It's ability to learn a wide range of TM's and HM's can make it extremely versitile in battle. It's ability to learn TM 26, Earthquake, can make it invunerable to even Electric Types. It's Special Attack rating is exceptionally high, and the fact that it can make it rain just by entering battle makes it's Water Type attacks very powerful. |
