What we believe
1. ...that the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit and is completely truthful.
"...for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." 2 Peter 1:212. ...that there is one God and He exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!" Deut 6:4
3. ...that Jesus is God. He exists eternally, created all things, was born of a virgin, never sinned in His life, performed many miracles, and was crucified on a cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Three days later, He was raised to life again and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
"For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him."Col 1:16
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God....And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us..." John 1:1, 14
4. ...that Jesus will return again to rapture His church (the believers) and to rule over the nations in glory and power.
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." 1 Thess 4:16-17
5. ...that we have all sinned, but that the precious blood of Jesus cleanses us from our sins.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26
"And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight..." Col 1:21-22
6. ...that the blood of Jesus heals all sickness and disease in our bodies in answer to our believing prayer.
"Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness--by whose stripes you were healed." 1 Peter 2:24
7. ...that the Holy Spirit lives in believers to comfort us, to teach us, to love us, and to empower us.
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things." John 14:26
"Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind." Phil 2:1-2
8. ...that miracles, healings, signs, and wonders will increase. We can expect to see more signs and wonders today then in Biblical days.
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." John 14:12
