Mabel always checks the integrity of newly delivered materials.
as well as the quality of my work...
Pump house is framed, ready to be wired, install pump, plumbing and railings.
I set down a rough course of the retaining wall stones as an outline -
in order to get a better idea of how this stage needs to progress.
Posts for deck are temporarily stabilized while concrete hardens.
The big blue tarp is to keep leaves, Mabel, and other stuff off of the sand.
As of 7-18-01....
Electrical hookup is complete.
Deck posts have been set.
About half of the backfilling is finished.
Liner bead receiver installed, along with cap boards.
Light Niche, Skimmer and Return are installed.
Pool bottom is too wet to work with again due to heavy rains.
Hope to work on decking next few days, and if no rain,
install liner on Tues 07-24-01.
WISH ME LUCK ! ! !
A few people have asked about ordering the liner.
This is the sketch that I sent to AquaFlex (Sunland).
Yeah, I know the pool is not perfectly square,
but a 1/4 inch or less is pretty close in my book!
After drawing it out per measurements, I noticed that my slope toward the
4'10" end could have stood a slight adjustment, but decided not to worry about it,
and left it as is... The corners are 4 3/4" wide. That is the width of a 4x4
ripped diagonaly, as per plans. This small radius is to keep from having a
sharp 90 degree corner angle.
The steps have nothing to do with ordering the liner, I just wanted to show their location.
