There is just ONE THING TO REMEMBER � POSITIVE REINFORCMENT IS THE ONLY TRAINING METHOD THAT WORKS. HITTING, YELLING OR OTHERWISE BEING AGGRESSIVE TO YOUR DOG WILL CAUSE IT TO BE EITHER AGGRESSIVE ITSELF OR NERVOUS, SKTTISH AND FRIGHTENED OF YOU. That is not to say that you cannot say a firm NO to a negative behavior when necessary, but then redirect the dog to some approved behavior immediately.
