If you have a gardening question you'd like answered, you're in luck! Through the auspices of the wonderful Clemson University Extension Program, Dorchester County has an active and extensive group of knowledgeable Master Gardeners. These ladies and gentlemen have gone through special training in all aspects of gardening, with an emphasis on the peculiarities of South Carolina climate and soils. If they can't answer your question, they'll refer it to the Dorchester Co. Horticultural Agent.
You can also bring your soil samples in to the Master Gardener office to have analyzed by Clemson.
