| Annette Clift is our featured resident for April. Rose Larsen wrote a truly lovely biography of Annette, which begins, "She walked in the forest not knowing love would find her there." It gets even better as the story unfolds. In the "touching tale" entitled, "Only a Cookie," Rose relates how hike leader Ray Clift was offered a cookie by demure Annette, and a woodsy romance ensued. The story of their marriage and the couple's move to Prescott and Pine Lakes is interwoven with accounts of Annette's social, artistic and outdoor adventures. Since Ray's passing at age 91, after thirty years of loving marriage, Annette continues to enjoy living in Pine Lakes. She thanks Rose for writing such a glowing and lovely biography. | |||||||||||||||||||||
