Many people have called the PFMC requesting information about the closest airport.
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the closest in mileage, at about 20 miles, but this could take about an hour drive particularly during rush hours (3-6 PM), to the Clarion Hotel. It is not necessarily the closest in time, due to the way the Interstate (I) highways, I-95, I-76, I-276, and I-295, run through the cities and across toll bridges.
If you are renting a car rather than taking commercial transportation from any of the airports, you might find cheaper flights and be closer in time to use either Newark International Airport (EWR) or Atlantic City International Airport (ACY).
Look for the least expensive flights and consider travelling on Thursday and Monday which are cheaper travel days than Friday and Sunday. The excellent PFMC room rates at the Clarion Hotel are good for Thursday and Sunday night.
Newark International Airport (EWR) is about 75 miles north of the Clarion Hotel but that distance can be travelled in about an hour since the airport and the hotel are right next to Interstate (I) highways, I-278, I-95, NJ Turnpike (toll), and I-295, with no major bottlenecks in between.
Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) is in Pomona, NJ about 9 miles west of Atlantic City and about 45 miles from the Clarion Hotel. It is adjacent to the Atlantic City Expressway (toll) which connects to I-276 and I-295. The travel time is about an hour.

The NJT train to / from Atlantic City runs from / to the Amtrak 30th Street Train Station and stops at the Cherry Hill Train Station.
