The Pokemon Center. The place  to heal your Pokemon (note that it's free!!). Just go straight and talk to the nurse there and you can heal your Pokemon. Also, the Pokemon Center is not only for healing your Pokemon too. It also has the Cable Club and the the PC. Check out the links below to know more about the Pokemon Center:

The PC
Cable Club

The PC

The PC is not like computers at home. It is not for playing games and typing stuffs. Through the computer, you can access three other PCs. These PCs are:

Someone's PC: This PC is to withdraw Pokemon and deposit                                     Pokemon. Since you can only carry up to six                                     Pokemons at a time, so you will have to store the                                extra's somewhere else; here at Someone's PC. The                            actual owner of this PC is Bill. He lives further up                               Cerulean City. After you meet him, the name                                      Someone's PC will be changed to Bill's PC. There are                          several boxes in the PC which one can only contain 20                        Pokemons. After the box is full, you will not be able to                        catch any Pokemons in battle until you change to                                another box (note that you will have to save your game                       when you want to change the box). All together there                          are 12 boxes in the PC. Please note that there are                                several differences in Yellow and Gold version. In the                         Yellow version, there is an additional option. After                               accessing the PC you can print out your Pokemons                             stored in the box using a GB Printer (we don't think                            that you can print it out if you are using an emulator).                         While in Gold version, it is not called Someone's PC or                        Bill's PC but it is called the Pokemon PC. Other than                           that there is also another option which is Move                                   Pokemon. This option is just to rearrange your                                   Pokemon in the particular box that you have selected                           but you will have to remove all the items attached to                            your Pokemons first.                                                Your PC: This is Your PC. The name is actually not Your PC but the                  word Your is replaced with your name. If your name is                       Ash, it will appear as Ash's PC. If your name is Blue, it will                 appear as Blue's PC. Your PC is to withdraw, deposit and                    toss items. You can only carry up to twenty items at a time.                If you were to recieve any more items, you won't be able to                take them until you have space in you inventory. In Your PC,                you are not given unlimited space. You can only put up to                    items in Your PC. If Your PC is full already, you recieve                     anymore items and you either have to sell or toss some items               away if you want to recieve that particular item.

Prof. Oak's PC: This PC belongs to Professor Oak as it name implies.                           This PC has only one purpose. It is to rate your                                  Pokedex. After catching a certain amout of Pokemon,                         Professor Oak will comment a different thing on your                         Pokedex. After catching 10 Pokemon, Professor Oak                          will say that can recieve a HM5 from his Aide. You                             will have to find his Aide, talk to hi and he will give                             you the HM. After catching 30 Pokemon, Professor                            Oak will say that you can go and get an Itemfinder                              from his Aide. This one's a different one, so you'll                              find him in another place. The last item that you can                            get is an Exp. All after catching 50 Pokemons. You                             will have to get it from another Aide too. Other than                            that, Professor Oak's comments are just for fun. He                            usually gives another coment in an interval of 10                                 Pokemons caught. Click here to know what are the                             items given for.

CABLE CLUB

The Cable Club is the place where you can trade or battle with your friend's Pokemon. As stated in it's name, you need a Cable Link and connect it to both you and your friend's port. It is located at the left side of your gameboy. For those of you who don't know what's a Cable Link, it is like a wayar which has two sockets at both ends. It is used to connect two gameboys together so that both of them can play together. In Pokemon, it is used to trade and battle with your friend. The Cable Club is located at the right side of the Pokemon center for Pokemon Blue, Red and Yellow version. For Gold version, it is located upstairs and you will have to speak to the specific nurse which one of them is to trade and one of them is to battle while in the other version, there will only be one nurse at the Cable Club. After speaking to the nurse, you will be confronted with several options. You can either go the the Colloseum or the Trade Center. After choosing either one, you will be sent to a room where there is a table and two chairs. You will be sitting at one chair and your friend at the other. If you choose the Trade Center, you will be able to negotiate with each other on which Pokemon to trade. If you choose the Colloseum, you will be battling with your friend. There are no differences in Gold version just that you will have to talk to the specific nurse on which option you choose.
