The sequenced of WRKY1 obtained from interacted colonies varied in their starting point and length. However, all cDNAs segments contained the C-terminal domains ��LVATYEGEHNH�� and ��RRNLAEQMAMTLTRDPSFKAALVTAL��, indicating that they maybe required for heterodimerization. Related WRKY��s have also been compared, all containing the highly conserved C-terminus. On the other hand, the coiled-coil domain ��KKDPEVKVAAL EAELKRMGAENRQLSEML�� and the WRKY domain may not be vital to the interactions since the shortest interactors identified only contained the two conserved domains described above . Other members of group IIa (Xb10, WRKY2, and WRKY3) also have the ��LVATYEGEHNH�� and ��RRNLAEQMAMTLTRDPSFKAALVTAL�� domains.
