| Starting from the middle of 1945, Vaillant - the most captivating magazine becomes the most popular comic magazine in France, with a semi-monthly, then weekly appearance. PIF is born in 1948 in l'Humanite (paper of the Communist Party in France), and rejoins Vaillant in December 1952. From then on, this character will become more and more popular, eventually becoming the most important cartoon in the magazine. |
