Information Architecture

Created site architecture and directed the development of user research and testing, content structures, wireframes, prototypes, heuristic evaluations

Created information architecture documents for Current Students, Prospective Students, Alumni and Visitor roles 

Created wire frame, paper and HTML mock-ups for user testing and interaction design


Usability Testing & Analysis

Conducted full usability testing and analysis

Conducted user research, surveys and interviews with Faculty, Students, Alumni and others to determine user needs requirements

Used user profiles, use case scenarios, card sorting, paper prototyping and HTML mockups for user testing and to determine labeling conventions for navigation elements

           

   


Template. Objective was to include elements of previous website design
and combine them with the use of a common and more elegant template.


Previous Website Design. Main elements of design included retaining use
of colors for site recall, rearranging content classification and prompt
display of news and announcements using a common site template


Color Coding. Color was used to differentiate site from other departments, and
to indicate different sections of the website.
