About "Dr. Zip"

One morning, a harried man zipped by a boy's house in a shiny red car and dumped a kitten on the front lawn. The boy was asleep, but the mom took the kitten inside. She hid it from the boy until the next day, which was Christmas.

On Christmas morning, the boy ran to the Christmas tree to see if the Dalmatian puppy he had wished for was hiding under the branches.

"But that's not a dog!" the boy said in utter disappointment when he saw the tiny, silver-bullet-colored cat. "And it doesn't even have a single spot!"

This cartoon is dedicated to a cat named Spotless by the boy who loves her—in spite of the fact that she is really nothing but a spot-challenged, non-dog-like cat, thrown over a fence.
