School Physics: a British site with some clear explanations of concepts covered in our classes too.

S-Cool!: Tutorials and notes on various topics. Nice diagrams.

Hyperphysics: a great reference site, and some of the Year 13 notes and diagrams are taken from here, but parts of it are a little advanced.

StudyIt: a site focussed specifically at studying for NCEA, with tips and information on each subject, level and standard.

Carter Observatory: the nice people at Carter in Wellington give you a chance to gain NCEA credits (up to 24, and 8 in Maths) in astronomy.

Physics 2000: nice little applets for several topics. If you study Level 3 Chemistry, check out the Whizzy Periodic Table.

RSNZ year 13: the Royal Society's website, which has some good applets and tutorials on a variety of topics for Year 13.

RSNZ Year 12: the Year 12 version of the RSNZ site.

University of Auckland reference: lists of glossaries and definitions for a wide variety of topics. Some are beyond the scope of these courses, but others are useful and/or interesting.

Alphalink: some simulations of atomic models, and the behaviour of light.

Practical Physics: lots of cool physics experiments.

Physics Education Technology (PhET): Have a play with some of the simulations used in class.

Next Time Questions: Have a go at some conceptual questions to get the Category One brain cells firing!

Interference: a nice little applet demonstrating wave interference by two sources, and path difference.

Nori: lots of cool little applets demonstrating mechanics and waves concepts.

Periodic Chart of Nuclides: a clickable periodic table linked to lists of nuclides for each element.

The ABC's of Nuclear Science: explores the basics of nuclear physics and radioactivity.

Periodic Table: an interactive Periodic Table which also shows the number of isotopes for each element and other decay info.

Pintarmedia: download the simulations we use in class.

Falstad: some very cool applets, especially for waves.
