We are keeping the same topic as last class, Can anyone remember what we were working on?
answers include
Space awareness, general space, slef-space, curling, strecthing, twisting, etc..

This is like follow the leader.  One person will be the leader and run in a single file line around the gym.  The object of the leader is to run in circles, spirals, loops, and cut inbetween people.  The leader should move quickly but noone should touch each other.  Use the self space and general space rules.

     Standard # 2- Applies movement concepts and principles to the learning and      
                         development of motor skills.
Benchmarks:
     
Psychomotor- Transfer weight, from feet to hands, at fast and slow speeds using
                                 large extensions.
                            Uses concepts of space awareness and movement control to run,
                                hop, and skip in different ways in a large group without bumping                                  into others or falling.
     
Cognitive- Recognize fundamental components and strategies used in simple games                                  and activities.
                      Describe essential elements of mature movement patterns.
     
Affective- Appreciate differences and similarities in others' physical activity.
Indicators:
   Students will-
           1) Allow all group members to participate and contribute according to their 
              personal abilities to ensure opportunities for all students to participate in 
              activities.
           2) Offer suggestions to persons whose skills they feel capable of improving to 
              contribute to the success of others.
           3) Display good sportspersonship both as participants and as spectators to
             demonstrate respect for self and others.
