III. Balancing
             Vocabulary, Skills, Rules, Concepts, and Teaching Cues:
                 a) Balance- Stability produced by even distribution of weight on each side of the vertical axis, and aesthetically pleasing intergration of elements.
                                   Teaching Cues:  Hold the position, do not move
                 b) Basic body parts- Hands, knees, bottom, head, elbow, etc...
                                    Teaching Cues: Use different parts, explore

IV. Jumping and Landing
           Vocabulary, Skills, Rules, Concepts, and Teaching Cues:
                a) Take-off- Actions of the body as its propelled off the ground.
                b) Flight- Actions of the body while it's off the ground in the air.
                c) Landing- Actions of the body as it reestablishes contact with the ground.
                d) Appropriate Take-Off, Flight and Landing-
                             1) Bend knees with hands at side
                             2) As legs extend arms go straight up (high jump), out in front (long jump)
                             3) Jump and reach high or out
                             4) Land with arms at side and legs bent
                e) 2 Foot Take-Off to One Foot Landing
                           Teaching Cues: Use your balance and try not to fall
                f) 2 Foot Take-Off to 2 Foot Landing
                           Teaching Cues: This is a jump, use your arms
                g) 1 Foot Take-Off to Land on Other Foot
                           Teaching Cues: This is a leap, make it graceful
                h) 1 Foot Take-Off to 2 Foot Landing
                           Teaching Cues: This is the long jump, you really need to use your arms for this one

V. Partner Activities/Relationships

               a) General Space- All space around a room or boundary in which an individual can move by traveling away from the original starting location.
                              Teaching Cues: Make sure you have enough space around you
               b) New Games- Allows children to work together and put differences aside to achieve a common goal.
