Another successful vacation has drawn to a close, and we are all back home dealing with this shitty weather. There were many good times had during the trip & I am sure you will want to hear about most of them.

For those of you that didn't know who went on this trip it was My brother Rob, Ari, Dustin, Sean & myself.  Last year we all went to Cancun, Mexico and wanted to do something different this year.
We arrived in Jamaica in the afternoon & took the shuttle bus to our resort (Sunset Beach Resort) which is about 15mins from the airport.  We arrived at the hotel & immediately went to the bar for some free drinks, no wrist bands were required. We all enjoyed this because when we were in Cancun we all had to give our room number for every drink & give a tip.  It was such a hassle, this resort was much better & so were the drinks.  We got our room keys & headed up to our rooms.  They were all in all pretty nice, the rooms at the Oasis in Cancun were a bit better but we were all satisfied. 

After unpacking and getting into shorts, we headed down to lobby for more drinks.  After getting them, we headed to the grill which was open all day & got some burgers, fries & jerk chicken.  Again no wrist bands or room numbers needed.  The food was 10x better than the previous year in Cancun. 

Once we had all eaten way more than we should have we walked around, checked the place out and laid out in the sun, had a few more drinks, swam, had a few more drinks, laid out in the sun, had a few more drinks. (see a pattern here) 

 
As the day turned to night we all showered, got changed and went to dinner.  The first night we ate at the buffet which was very good, they had a lot to choose from.  After eating & people watching we went to the bar in the lobby and had some drinks, and talked with a bunch of people.  I can say that the atmosphere was very laid back, and it was very easy to meet new people.  The staff were some of the nicest people I have ever seen working at a hotel in all of my travels.  They worked day and night to keep the place clean.  I remember getting out of the hot tub around 4:30am to go to bed and they were still pressure washing the floor.  It was very clean the whole time we were there.

Montego Bay is without a doubt a poor area in a financial sense, but the area is very rich with great views & fantastic people.  I believe I took this picture from the cab on our way back from the airport.  The picture above was taken on our way back from Negril.  As you will see in the pictures of us cliff jumping, there are some mountain type areas in Negril.
