To test the strength of one's beliefs, faith, ideals, and understanding of the world, is to question these very beliefs, faith, ideals, and understanding, challenge the established thoughts that gave rise to them, and seek true knowledge for onself. Do not merely follow what one had been molded and trained, from a very young age, to believe and accept as the truth. Open one's mind to new thoughts and perspectives; then, and only then, can one truly claim such beliefs, faith, ideals, and understanding as one's own. With knowledge comes responsibility.
