| Gig at Peggers on 27th Feb 1st ever gig for PhreaK 101! well i planned this gig a few days after i got back from Thailand. The Peggers (as most of you know) is FUCKING ROUGH! ahahaha. jeeeeeeesus. after a car journey of silence, cuz of the nerves, we arrived and lugged the equipment in......well the kit and guitars. The P.A bloke was nice and late so thanks for that you idle git. when i arranged the gig we were told that we didnt need our amps as the lazy P.A bloke had everything. no. we needed amps, so Al got on the phone to his AMAZING mother who bought them down for us! thank you! 1st band on was the almighty Hiku. with 2 days practise and pete dressed in a mini skirt they crashed and burned like a fucking broken plane but well done lads for getting up there! a few drinks later we storm on the stage. we knocked out a barage of our songs, sweated, drank and swore and had a fucking great time! moshing and skanking was rife! thanks to the wonderful Nick. thanks to evryone who came and cheered us on. the night was top notch. oh yeah, my guitar knackered out half way through the set so i whacked it and it worked! |
| The Big Hoo Haa at Tibby Mission on 12th April The line up was Peace, love and petrol bombs, Embargo and us. it later turned out to be just us and Embargo as the guitarist from P.L.A.P.B broke his arm, what a clever chap. so we get there and comsume the litre of vodka in 45mins. Not bad at all! After me and Al seeing one of our old teachers and me sayin "fuck me" to him and him giving me the dirtyest look ever.....i hid in a room. Up 1st was Embargo and with a set of mainly covers(datsuns, libertines etc) and a couple of there own they went down a storm. well done boys! A small bottle of Jack Danials later we rose on to the stage. Wearing pink, very drunk and with a crap banner we had the place moshing! even though a few Hombres had to explain what a circle pit was. all topped of with my nice stage dive at the end! thanks 2 the 125 people that came and thanks to the poor people i landed on! |

| The Moo at Bob's on 15th March For those of you who dont know Bob, hes the dude that tapes cables and leads to the floor. Looks like Timmy from southpark! Bob asked us to play his house so we did. it was mainly for the people who couldnt get to Peggers. any way, the kit kept moving forward so like the useful chap he is, Bob sat in front of it! my amp knackerd out half way through so we called it a day....a good one at that! thanks people. |
