#1 Rule -- KEEP IT SIMPLE. All those filters may look useful, but it doesn't give the image the orignal touch. So, don't use too many filters when creating your masterpiece
-- Have the newest version of Adobe Photoshop to stabalize your program.
-- DO NOT care what other people think, if you like it, then you use it. Don't let other people put you down
-- Use mattes when using a transparent gif.
-- If not using transparencey, always use JPG. This allows you to choose if you want a high quality image, or a fast downloading one.
-- Outline. Always outline your shapes.
-- If you're making website images, make sure your colors stick with each other, don't use lots of different colors. Try using different shades of the main colors in your picture.
