1. Phonics pool tournament is for the enjoyment of all to play, including those who think they�re better than me which they�re not, well, we�ll soon find out anyway.
2. the pool is played on yahoo games (contact me if you do not know were this is) its easy to find once your in there. The games are normally played on a table called setemup because if the table is full then I know another entrance into the room. But all this will be explained when we get to that part if you don�t know where you�re going
3. you have to have an account with yahoo, it�s free so don�t go crazy if you haven�t got one. It�s easy to register up with yahoo mail, go to www.yahoo.co.uk, there you will find out how to register by clicking on the mail button at the top, can�t miss it.
4. I will announce a time and date in two seconds, and the tournament ladder maybe available tonight, if not, definitely tommorrow.
ACTUAL GAME RULES.
5. we�ll all be on one table so don�t worry about who plays who, because I will announce that.
6. remember it�s only a game so don�t worry if you win or lose, there�s no draws in pool. there�s no way of drawing for the simple reason that you can�t draw in pool unfortunately
7. to take a shot in pool, you basically use your mouse. Click and hold left button on the cue to move the cue around to get angle, you also know where your ball is going because it gives you a line of direction of where it is going. To take a shot now, you click and hold right button, pull the mouse back as far as you need it, you have a power meter on the right hand side of the table to see how hard you�re hitting it.
8. am I sounding to hard and complicated so far, if so don�t hesitate to ask questions.
9. Everyone will be in one table so everyone will know what�s going on because there�s a little chat thing below it, so you can chat while playing as well.
10. When you have finished your game, you will be told, or you can do it yourself to stand, and there�s a button on the left hand-side of the screen to do this, this enables the next game to proceed and for the next pool players to sit and play their games
11. One last thing, I blabbering on too much now. If you have any problems you know where I am, don�t hesitate to ask!
SO I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY PLAYING MY PHONICS_POOL TOURNAMENT I HAVE SET UP FOR YOU, AND IF IT IS SUCCESSFUL AND YOU HAVE ENJOYED IT THEN I MAY MAKE IT INTO A WEEKLY THING, OR MAYBE EVEN A LEAGUE. A PHONICS_POOL LEAGUE, THAT WOULD BE NICE NOW HEY???
IT COULD EVEN TURN VERY COMPETITIVE AND STEREOPOINTS MAY EVEN TURN UP WHEN PLAYING GAMES, BUT THAT�S FOR ANOTHER CONVERSATION
