Firebirds
Outdoor
Firebirds are in the CLFHA's C League and are just gearing up to begin their outdoor schedule. Their team is readily visible on the field with hot pink jersies and socks. Members attended a two club practices in April at Beaverbrook and hope to get a few more in. The team is in their fourth season and have improved as a team and look to continue.
2008 Roster
The Firebirds team is led by Candace Ford and Stacey Stewart, who are also the team reps on the CLFHA Board. Julie Popadynetz of Phoenix White provides coaching support to the team. The 2008 roster is as follows: Amanda Horvath, Angela Ng, Ashley Clark, Candice Ford, Caroline Manchot, Chloe Bogner, Erika Clark, Heather Krywulak, Heather Schille, Jen Hetherington, Jocelyn Dickie, Jolene Popadynetz, Kate Morissette, Lise Vincent, Mariah Brown, Natasha Monteiro, Sarah Stelter, Stacey Stewart, Stephanie Cheung, Zoe Abraham, Anne Dmytryshn (sub), Tania Jacobs (sub). Fees this year remain at $140 and should be paid to the team captains immediately.
Indoor
Firebirds has an indoor team that plays from October to March at Talisman Centre.
