Spotlight-Capadocious Speaks Story By Alicorn's Prayer Recently in light of the city's new developments and troubles, one of RavenBlacks founding fathers decided to share his thoughts on past situations, recent troubles, and future plans for the city. As I was lead to my appointment with one of the city's most prominent citizens and self-proclaimed Prince of Ravenblack, one couldn't miss the extravegant furnishing of the Capadocian Keep. Through the stillness and breathtaking stroll, one could see that indeed this person had been long in the city and in unlife as well. There also was the not-so-sublet impression of strength, determination, and directness of Capadocious' well-known iron-rule as many of his former glories and conquests were out for all to view. Whether in painting or word, it was obvious that at one time, and perhaps in the future, this was a clan to be feared. As I was shown into Prince Capadocious' study, I was taken aback from his appearance. One could see the set of his broad shoulders, and the pain and determination etched on his weary features. The recent upheavals may have caused him upset, but seemed to also strengthen his will to overcome it and all that stood in his way.
Prince Capadocious showed a genteel grace and hospitality as he welcomed me to his keep, dressed all in black leather. But even than, this reporter could see the suspicion and weariness chase across his face as I took my seat. So, to better put him at ease we talked abit about family, friends, and jokes. Eventually though, Prince Capadocious himself took it upon himself to address the issues at hand so the interview could proceed. Although one could easily sense his pain at discussing current events and his dissappointment in those he had held in high esteem once, he readily answered my questions as to his current feelings about his clan, those who oppose him, and his hopes for the future of RavenBlack City.
Prince Capadocious: I am the Father of my clan. It is my job to bring order to the chaos that is RavenBlack city. I am seen as evil, my family sees me as good to them. In fact I am something inbetween. How others see me only matters to me when they are in my clan. I love my family and the members within it. I love the closeness that we share and I love to see their spirit shine even in the most horrible situaltions. I like least the deceit and back stabbing nature that some vampires have mastered to the point that they would crush others feelings and attempt to take away what they hold dear. I would like to see the clans and vampires that are in all ways honorless crushed benieth the warrior boots of the Capadocious Clan. When I asked him what his favorite memory was about the city and his clan, the Prince had this to say: I loved the honorable battles of flesh and mind against the Black Haven clan that was lead by WitchyRune. I loved the heart of the Capadocians back then and the chivalry that the BH portrayed. I believe that the Capadocians are recapturing that heart but we have no enemies worthy of us. In reply as to if there was a significant other in his future, a look of hurt and betrayal crossed across his features. And perhaps a bit of regret. After taking a deep breath to obviously wash away those memories, Prince Capadocious said there were four important individuals in his life at the present. Please see Prince Capadocious, page 4

AstaTheBroken Leaves The Community Story by UpbeatSweetie With all the dissention in the city, one of the city's Founding Mothers is withdrawing herself from the community. Her hard efforts at trying to keep the city in tact and it's citizens united has torn her heart apart. Recent troubles and segregation of citizens perhaps lent the last straw to her already ladened shoulders and strength. Even though her companion, Speieler de Toten and Alicorn's Prayer offered thier assistance in helping her to rebuild the once historical site of RBB, the burden and pain were too much for this amazing vampress to bare. Perhaps if others had offered her assistance, perhaps if other citizens were able to put aside thier differences or personal agendas, the outcome would have been different.
In a public announcement to the RVRC and it's owner Dirktou, Asta had this to say: "That the "reception" at the notte scura will be my last hurrah. der Tote, I have left you co-ownership of the debate board, and have also informed Cerridwen that she will likely be promoted to owner of the BNVC in my stead. Dirktou can shove it up his ass. Tell him that I said that. By advertising his board constantly on RBB and having others do it too, he created more chaos than was necessary and yes, I still blame him, even with my conversation posted up there for everyone to read.
I no longer care." Her companion, der Tote, also had more to add to her statement. "Something beautiful has died in this war, and it should be mourned. I do not believe that anyone has "won" anything here. I will now refrain from posting anything related to the skirmish with RBB, excepting replies to this post. I appreciate your tolerance and patience with me." The city mourns the loss of perhaps it's brightest star in the city's night skies. And we can only hope that one day she returns and shines her brilliance on us once more.
