| The High Council and Clan of the Phoenix Announce The Arena In September of 2003, The High Council and Clan of the Phoenix discussed plans for the idea of the Arena. Plans to finalized were put off till Clan of the Phoenix were able to complete prior duties. Now that they're finished with building thier new keep, Clan of the Phoenix will start looking for interested parties to help organize a system and bouts for the Arena. Clan of the Phoenix has asked that The NightWatch help in guarenteeing the transferring of funds for entry fees and bets. The approved plans for The Arena follows: The Arena Weapons: Scrolls of Turning Holy Water Cross Bow (IF RB approves for entire city) Vorpal Sword (Once HC and RB approve it, try to make it arena only availability) Types of Bouts: General Bouts: These bouts are for training purposes or 'showing off' type of play. Maximum BP damage will be 200 BP loss. These particular fights are open to all players, whether in a clan or not. Weapons will be limited to 10 Scrolls of Turning and 3 Holy Water. The winner will be determined by who gets thier opponant to thier 200 BP loss first. Tag teams can participate, but limited to 3 opponents on each team. Each participant must pay an entry fee that will be split up between the winning team. Bout is won when an opposing team meets maximum BP loss. Each vampire that reaches thier maximum BP loss, they must exit the arena, and the remaining team mates stay till each reaches their maximum BP loss. Bout is finished when all reach thier maximum BP loss on an opposing team. Entry Fee: 10,000 coins per participant (Players/Clans are responsible for the cost of weapontry used) Winner gets the coins at the end of the bout. Honor Bouts: These bouts are for players to settle honor disputes between players. Maximum BP damage will be 600 BP loss. These particular fights are open to all players, whether in a |
| 7. Vampires who participate in the Honor Bouts can return to future Arena events within 1 month. 8. Vampires participating in Death Duels can return to future Arena events within 3 months. 9. Bets can be placed on which vampire will win in a bout. The proceeds collected will be distributed in this manner: a. All bets will be collected by the gaming commision. An e-mail should be sent, with the name of who your betting to win and the amount your betting. b. A 'screen shot' should be kept of all money transferes, plus a response e-mail kept of recievment of funds verifying the bet and whom is bet on to win a particular match. c. 10% of total bets will be given to the winner of the particular bout they participated in. d. The remaining 90% will be split up equally between all players who bet on the winning bout. e. Pay outs to betters won't be given, if there's no proof given of a money transfere. |

Death Duels: These bouts are for the seriously offended vampires. It can be used by all players, but can be implimented to settle clan disputes if opposing clans agree to such a settlement and sign an agreement to halt retalitory measures of clan involvement of the war games in progress. If this is the case, than a 'Clan Champion' can be assigned to this particular bout. The 'Clan Champion' is immune from all clan wars, and is used solely for this purpose. All clans/groups will honor the Clan Champion's withdrawel from clan war involvement. Weapons will be limited to 30 Scrolls of Turning, 15 Holy Waters, the Cross Bow, and Vorpal Sword (for Instant Death Win). Bouts will continue until one of the players is 'zeroed'. Entry Fee: 50,000 coins per participant (Players/Clans are responsible for the cost of weapontry used) Winner gets the coins at the end of the bout. Rules: 1. In any bout, the contestants must be at a similar level of BP and skill level. Elder against Elder, Stamina levels the same. 2. Vampires are required to have a like number of weapontry, depending on which bout type they are participating in. Biting is allowed in all bouts, and can be used as a vampires sole weapon if all weapons are used before desired BP maximum level isn't attained to end a bout. 3. Bouts end when vampire reaches Maximum BP loss required for each bout type. 4. Any weapons left from a bout are kept by the vampires participating. 5. Players can visit a Necromancer to replace BP, but are solely responsible for it's cost. The Arena isn't responsible for blood replacement. 6. Vampires who participate in the General Bouts can return to future Arena events within 2 weeks. |
| The High Council Discusses Holidays with RavenBlack Recently, the High Council sent off a letter to RavenBlack, asking about holidays being celebrated in the pubs and guilds of the city. RavenBlack has approved of this addition, and the High Council is currently discussing what holidays are to be celebrated, and what the gifts will be for those specific holidays. |
| Pawnshops May Come to RavenBlack City Recently, discussions are going on between Callidus and RavenBlack, about putting pawnshops in RavenBlack City. These pawnshops will buy back old weapons, at a loss, from individuals who recieve the Nuetrality skill or decide to not participate in clan wars or violent retaliations towards other citizens of the city. |
