Website Questions
1) Can I link to your website? If you
like my website and you want to place a link in your own website,
sure, you certainly may. I'd appreciate and be honored if you do so.
Also,
I'd like it if you tell me first, so that I can link to your
website as well if you'd like. Especially if your website is Ragnarok
Online related or has anything to do with some interests of mine.
If you want to use a banner for the site, I hope
this would be to
your liking. If you need something of a different size, just contact
me and I'll try to make one.
2) Can you link to my website?
If you
want me to add your site to my links page, you can just ask me. Give
me a link to the site and I'd check it out if it's either RO related
or somewhere within my interests or liking. Linking to my site also
helps *wink* *wink*. Lolz
3)
How do I contact you? You can e-mail
me if you want. My address is phoenixchains[at]yahoo[dot]com. I ask
that you use Sleeping on the Keyboard as a subject though as I delete
mails from strangers.
You could also catch me online and chat with me at Yahoo Instant
Messenger. My ID is phoenixchains and I do log in there most of the
time when I'm online.
Other ways to contact me is through the guestbook in this website, or
the forums I go to, which are listed in the links section.
Fanfiction Questions
1) What happened to your old fanfics?
If you're referring to the fics in this website before, I'm sad to say
that those fics have either gone on hiatus and being re-written, or
have been completely discarded. I'm sorry to those that liked them.
Unfortunately, I had been in a horrible state in the past few months
that I started to feel the same about plenty of things and even to
those fics. I tried to continue them but I felt that it's unfair to
myself, the fanfic and to you readers as well if I continued them at
such a state. The ones I plan to re-write are
Ice Cream Acolyte,
Resurrection,
The Silver Knife and
The Angel of Death.
2)
When will you update
<insert fanfic here>?
The updates for fics really
depends on different circumstances. I update them whenever I can but I
can't give it a definite schedule. I will however try to set deadlines
for myself so you won't have to wait forever so don't worry.
3) Can I post your fanfic at a site or
a forum?
No! you certainly cannot. Not unless you asked
me and I gave you permission to. It would be plagiarism on your part
and that's a crime, even if you will give me credit. It's best to ask
permission first. I'm easy to talk to, especially if you have a good
reason. You could just link to this site and that would be much
easier.
4) I have a review of your fanfic, how can I give it to you?
Refer to the
How do I
contact you? question above if you have any reviews for me. I'd
greatly appreciate those. Thanks.
5) You have an error or typo in your fanfic?
Though I'm considered a veteran fanfic writer in the Ragnaboards, I
have only started to write a few years ago and could still use loads
of improvement and experience. I'm sure I have errors and typos and
try my best to detect and fix them when proofreading, but some of them
I can't even be aware of just by myself. I'd be glad if you would
point those out for me so I may correct them.
6)
I have an idea for
a fanfic...
If you have any ideas that you would like
me to write about, sure, I'd love to hear them and I'll think about
it.
Refer to the
How do I
contact you? question above.
7) I saw your fanfic at another site/forum...
Should you see any of my fanfictions on other sites and forums and it
wasn't posted by me, kindly inform me since there's a huge chance that
it's the work of a plagiarizer.
Sprite Comic Questions
1)
What
happened to your old comics?
Those six comics that were
in this site would come back but at a later time and comic number I'm
afraid. Some reason for this is the same as why the fics before have
disappeared. Another is that those comics were done by random art
programs and I wasn't pleased with how they turned out. Luckily
though, I have finally bought an Adobe Photoshop and I'm quite happy
with it and the comics I make with it.
2) When will you update?
I have decided to give a regular timing for the updates of comics
starting from now on. You'd find an update every Monday of the 2nd
and/or 4th week of every month. I know it's a bit lax but it's enough
to give me time and won't pressure me. I will also update earlier if I
really have the time and the idea.
3)
Why
sprite comics?
I know there have already been plenty of
sprite comics in the web but I unfortunately can't draw well.
4) How did you make those?
I used the sprites that are scattered all over the web and used both
Photoshop and MS Paint to make the comics.
5)
Can I guest star in your
comics?
Sorry but no. I don't give any random person
parts in the comic. But if I have an idea for a comic and no
characters I know would fit the storyline, I'd gladly ask for any
volunteers and it's only then could you suggest your character.
Another exception also is if someone helped me in the making of a
comic, in which I'd cameo that person's character as a sign of thanks.
6) I have an idea for a comic...
If you have an idea for a comic, you can discuss it with me and I'll
think about it. See my contact details in this faq or in the
About
section.
7)
Can I post your
comic at a site or forum?
Similar to the question
regarding posting my fanfics, No! you certainly cannot. Not unless you
asked me and I gave you permission to. It would be plagiarism on your
part and that's a crime, even if you will give me credit. It's best to
ask permission first. I'm easy to talk to, especially if you have a
good reason. You could just link to this site and that would be much
easier.
