Sleeping on the Keyboard is a site which was made for the purpose of
hosting the author's fanfictions on Ragnarok Online. Originally, the site was hosted at Freewebs and called Eyes of the Heart as tribute to Rorouni Kenshin, the author's fascination with empathy, and how it relates to the phrase. In time, it was renamed to what it is called today due to an in-joke and reference to the author's crazy sleep patterns and habits. The site was also moved to Geocities as suggested by some of the author's friends. |

Empath was first acquainted to Ragnarok Online at August 2003, just a
few months after the game was released in the Philippines. He joined the
official message board a month after and was hooked with fanfiction
writing and became one of the early writers in the community.As the fanfiction community grew, he was soon considered to be a veteran in the writer's community because of his affiliation as an old member there. Aside from fanfiction, the author also tries other fandom such as web comics and forum avatars and signatures. A link to those works would soon be available in this site.
