Celica Carputer ver 1.0
i guess it has to start somewhere and it started up with a complaint that the sub-box was rolling around the boot, so i made a quick fix to stop the thuds around bends
well the wsh to buy a MP3 compatible head unit set in and my school asked us to do a project for systems and technology, then the idea hit me: ill build a PC, i was shot down with that idea because it was too easy to do, then i came to the conclusion, ill thrw it in the celica!!, then i dont need to buy a mp3 ready head unit!!, so theres how it all started... weather you wanted to know or not...you do now muahahah..

anyway after the idea was firmly in my head i set off to build it, beying more handy with a drill then a soldeing iorn i decided to do things as simple as possible:

a standard PC in the box i made to stop the speakers thumping around, sounded simple enough, so i set to work.
after finding a gigabyte motherboard in my spairs pile i threw a 128MB vid card and a 10/100 ethernet card, for updating my files, and that i thought was that..bar the power probem. nothing a meaty inverter cant fix!!, just be careful what auto-electrician you use, the dumb ass who wired mine up took the power from the steering column and replaced the 15 amp fuse with a 40 one, without upgrading the tiny wires..... no onder my dash was spewing smoke down the citylink!! thats, Melbourne, Australia before you ask
Vid card  and NIC brackets to hold them down when i am barreling around my burb
what the fuck are those hooks you ask?!
whey are for the hard drive, nice and springy rubber bands should provide dampening and shock absorbtion during the roughest ride.... that a lowered celica could endure on a road
first trial fit.... still like a glove!!
